Jennifer Kob

Jennifer is a seasoned litigator and longtime supporter of the rights of children and their families. In July 2023, Jen was inspired to advocate directly on behalf of families of children with special needs and she joined the Office of Neal H. Rosenberg. Before then, Jen litigated cases for the NYC Department of Education, in the Special Education Unit, for seven years first as a staff attorney and then as an attorney supervisor. Earlier in her legal career, Jen worked for many years at Safe Horizon where she assisted victims of domestic violence and their children on family court matters involving divorce, custody, child support, and orders of protection. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Jen currently resides in Brooklyn with her family, and she spends part of her free time volunteering in her children’s schools.
